Our tour groups rarely exceed 18 guests, and usually number around 14 travellers, to ensure you have ample time and easy access to sites, guides and experiences. 90 per cent of our tours also have at least one guaranteed departure date, enabling you to plan with peace of mind.
All our tours are guided and supported by skilled and experienced local and tour managers, who use their first-hand knowledge and on-the-ground relationships to improve and deepen your experience.
Many of our tours are also led by specialist lecturers – drawn from academia, publishing and the museum sector – who provide detailed insight and enriching commentary, opening up the historical and cultural aspects of your journey.
All our tours are structured yet flexible, giving you the opportunity to truly experience the places you visit and enjoy time with people in your group, while also offering plenty of chances to explore independently, or simply take some time off.
Our dedicated solo-traveller tours are limited to a maximum of 18 guests, offer the single occupancy of a double room and don’t add on any single supplements.
We partner with charming hotels that are deeply comfortable and capture the essence of their surroundings, whether it’s a historic, characterful building, or a perfectly placed location.
